PSTLP RETURNS SEASON 4 EP 1

“Hey everyone! Guess what? After a year, we are back in business! Oh! And I got a
haircut!” Annabeth looked at the nearest camera pointed at her, Jon, and Josh.

“Good think Emile isn’t here, he would have complained about it.” Jon rolled his eyes while the three walked along the edge of the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule boarder.

“At least I’m back. You assholes.” Despite the insult, the trio laughed as they continued their walk.

They walked along the path for awhile, but it had grown dark and foggy. The path had gotten hard to see and tripping was imminent.

“Shouldn’t we, you know turn back and head home? Or at least stay at a friend’s in either of the two kingdoms?” Jon suggested

“Yeah it’s dark, cold, and I’m tired.” Josh complained, rubbing his arms.

“We really should huh?” Suddenly a stick cracked causing all three to turn around, “This isn’t good…..” Annabeth was already in her battle stance.

Emile’s POV

“Still no reply from Annabeth, Jon or Josh.” I checked my phone again waiting for a call, text, something. It was way past midnight at this point and I was getting worried.

“I’m sure they must have stay the night at Link’s or Mario’s place for the night, nothing
to be worried about.” Tim put his hand on my shoulder and it calmed me down a little, but
my gut was telling me other wise.

“We start the show and they didn’t give us a heads up about where they were. Something must be up.” I started for the door, but Rikki stopped me.

“Chill. I’m sure they will be alright. They can hold their own. Now go to bed!”

“Fine…” I grumbled. I went home and got little to no sleep.

I checked my phone again. Still no replies. I tried to reassure myself everything was alright. I was probably just being an over protective boyfriend. My day went on as usual until there was a crash over at Rikki’s place.

“Who keeps smashing into my wall?! I have to pay to get that fixed you know…..”
The smoke cleared and appeared Jon, Josh, and Annabeth. I would have ran up to her and given her a hug, but she looked really evil, and really pissed off.

“Oh look. It’s the wannabe lper and his loser friends. I can’t believe I ever dated you.” She cackled.

The words stung, “What the hell happened to you guys?! You’re all evil now! What happened last night?”

“Oh wouldn’t you like to know. Let’s just say we am now more powerful than ever! Show them boys”

Jon and Josh started to shoot magic at us. We rolled out of the way and dodged their attacks left and right. Furniture was being blown to bits and our cover was decreasing faster and faster.

“Emile, Tim! Over here!” Rikki gestured over to us as we had to dive roll over to the couch where Rikki was taking cover.

“Rikki! What’s going on? Do you have any idea why they are like this?!”

“The neck brace! See if you can get if off.” Rikki closed the book she had in her hand and I ran off. I grabbed the VC6000, now painted a shiny gold color.

“Hey Annabeth!” She turned, her eyes red from the evil possessing her, “Anna I guess you can’t have this necklace since you have your’s…. It has magic and power from the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule. I can’t believe you forgot about it.”

“No power can surpass Master’s!” a deep growl could be heard from her throat.

“You sure? It has plant DNA that Dr. Rose uses for experiments….” I smirk. She fell for it. Annabeth swooped down and snatched it from my hand and removed the brace from her neck.

The lack of power coursing through her body caused her to collapse and Jon and Josh fell too.

“An………….be………….Anna…h……….Annabeth!” Annabeth’s eyes opened to Emile’s goofy face.

“W-what happened? The last thing I remember was Jon, Josh, and I in the woods. I feel like something was almost, purged from my body…”

Emile rubbed the back of his neck, “You kinda turned evil, but we don’t know who did it. Rikki looked in all of her books and the books from the MK and Hyrule, and nothing on where it came from.”

Anna rubbed her neck, it felt corse and bumpy and blistered all over, “What’s wrong with my neck?”

“This.” Rikki pulled out the neck brace. Annabeth gripped her neck, “it burned into your skin. Ill lock it up until we get more info on it.”

“W-where’s Jon and Josh?!” Her sudden pitch caused a voice crack.

“We’re right here.” Jon walked out of the kitchen with Josh who was drinking a juice box.

“I’m so sorry! It’s all my fault. If I hadn’t dragged you guys with me-“

“Don’t worry Anna. We’re fine. We’ve had worse injuries. Try to relax.”

“I’m still mad you bit- oof!” Jon elbowed Josh in the gut, “n-never mine, just rest up.”

“I’ve sustained worse.” Her leg twitched and started to throb at the thought of her previous adventures, “Emile? Can you please close out the show? I’m not feeling up to it…”

“Sure!” He turns to the camera, “well that was one way to start a new season! This has been  PSTLP Gang signing out!” the camera turned off.

“New ending catch phrase?”

“Yeah. I thought I’d mix it up a little.”

“I like it,” She smiles, “now can everyone leave me to rest? I guess being evil takes a lot out of ya.” The gang left her be but sleep was not possible. She had to know what caused her, Jon, and Josh to turn evil like that. Luckily, she had more contacts than just the MK and Hyrule, she had her tribe. Sneaking out of her house metal gear style, she ran and traveled to the reservation her family lived on.

“Uncle Adam? You home?” She ran into her uncle’s place.

“Oh Annabeth! It’s been ages! What brings you by?” Her uncle gave her a quick hug.

“Well, you see, there was this thing I wanted to know what it is.” She showed her neck. Adam stumbled back, nearly tripping over his sleeping mat on the floor.

“What happened? That burn mark… Are you ok?!”

“I’m fine. So, can you explain this then?”

“Yes, but it is a long story. I hope you have the time.” He cautioned.

“I’ve got plenty of time.”

“That’s it. That’s everything on the dark forces and him” It was now dusk. Annabeth thanked her uncle and turned on her phone. There were at least 10 missed calls and 23 texts from Emile alone. She laughs and calls him back.

“Yes, yes. I’m fine. I was, doing research. I’ll be home soon. Yeah I’ll be careful.” Anna turned to the direction of her home, not sure if she should tell her friends of the information she received.
